TECH WRESTLING CAMPS DUE TO START
Kenard Booker has been involved in wrestling for over 15 years as a coach. His experience's include over 80 All Americans, National Champs, State Champs and placers at all levels. He has coached at the College, High School and little league levels. As a Collegiate coach Kenard Booker coached over 40 All Americans. He is no stranger to the finals matches either. Booker has placed over 10 wrestlers in the final matches of the National tournament.
Booker has been a private technique coach since 1992 after completing his collegiate career as an All American and earning a degree in Business Administration while later completing his Masters Degree at the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND.
The extensive involvement with kids wrestling doesn’t stop here
however. He has served a Head Coach
of the Del City Takedown club as well as Asst. Coach at Del City High
School. While living in Minneapolis, MN, Booker also served as the Head
Coach for the Stars wrestling club.
There he dedicated his time to 65 young wrestlers." I have learned from and trained with some of finest wrestling minds ever, including Dave Schultz, Smiths, Gable, Brands, Steiners, and Trusty. The first High Tech Wrestling Camp was offered in 2003 while Booker was Head coach at Bacone College. Technicians have included Johnny Nimmo, Mark Smith, Niko Koliastasis, and Bogdan Ciufulescu.
Booker says, “I think it is a great way to give directly back to the sport which has given me so much.” Booker is the proud father of four boys
and one girl. His wonderful wife, Kima.
